These trade fairs are the venues for innovative products with a clear focus on health and modern nutrition. This is where the markets of tomorrow are created and it is here that GELITA AG presented its top products and services.

This was the first time that a team from gelatine world market leader GELITA participated at the Food Ingredients China (FIC) in Shanghai – a huge event with 1200 exhibitors and occupying an area of some 52.000 m˛ and attracting 40,000 or so visitors representing the entire South-East Asian food industry.

This was a trade fair of the superlative type. With FORTIGEL® for joint health – “Beaut y from within” – leaf gelatine and Instant Gel Schoko® for low-fat chocolate, the consumer can take beauty and health proteins in a targeted way and with a clear conscience. The GELITA team of specialists was able to answer all the questions posed by attending experts and visitors.

The Vitafoods in Geneva is a highly specialized trade fair focusing on health-promoting ingredients. GELITA’s focus at

the fair in Switzerland at the beginning of May was mainly on one product: FORTIGEL® with Bioreactive Peptides. With the “Joint Health Revolution” GELITA presented itsmessage in clear form: FORTIGEL® is the only ingredient on the market with scientific proof of its positive effect on joint health. The consumer can now act in a preventive way to protect cartilage and joints and patients with joint pain can reduce their intake of analgesics. The interest on the part of visitors was huge as was the number of new business contacts.
