A quite excellent idea and useful in practice: Nielsen Business Media, Organizer of Expo IS – International Trade Fair of Ingredients and Solutions for the Food Industry in São Paulo – declared GELITA® GEL-SLICE on September 9 as the winning product for the most innovative ingredient shown at the fair.

The special protein formulation from GELITA allows sauces to be sliced into individual slices. This is a new application and is perfect for many types of frozen foods. Now, industrial users can simply place slices of sauces and the like directly on to products such as sandwiches, pizzas and pasta.
