The Supervisory Board of GELITA AG has appointed Dr.Axel Alber to the Management
Board of the company. Effective January 1, 2008, he is responsible for Marketing
/Sales/R+D.
Dr. Alber has some 16 years of international experience in the food and consumer
goods industries, over eight of these as Director of Marketing and Sales in the
areas of pet food and, particularly, the special segment “health”. In his
previous position as Vice President of Marketing at Hill‘s Pet Nutrition,
Watford UK, part of the Palmolive Group, he was responsible,

with the General
Manager and the Sales Director, for Hill‘s business in Europe, the Near East and
Africa as well as for the strategic orientation of the “Hill‘s” brand worldwide.
Prior to that he was responsible internationally for Marketing and Customer
Relations as Director for Mars Inc.
